How We Like It

We hold our hands up & confess that we like this tea with a splash of milk or made in milk! Of course, this tea is a great spicy black tea but who can't deny the appeal of a chai latte?

We grind this tea in a nut grinder, put one spoonful into a tea bag, infuse the ground tea in a small amount of hot water until it turns a dark brown liquid and then add the hot milk. Yum!

The Story Behind Chai

In many Eurasian languages, chai or cha is the word for tea. However, Chai 'tea' can only be called Chai if it s a blend made with black tea, spices and infused in milk & sugar. This style of tea originated in India and has recently gained much popularity in the west.
